Access Control
Standalone Systems
An ideal standalone access control solution for internal low security doors comprises
a digital keypad connected to an electric lock release via a transformer/controller.
Only holders of the correct code or codes can gain access.
A variation where a higher level of security is required would be a proximity reader
fitted instead of a keypad. Only holders of a correctly programmed prox card or
fob can gain access. Cards/fobs can be programmed off the system to render them
invalid if lost or stolen.
