CCTV

Commercial/Industrial CCTV systems are not only used for security surveillance reasons but also for Health and Safety, Marketing etc

Domestic/Residential CCTV systems have been very useful in combating burglaries and theft of motor vehicles or other items from front and rear gardens and driveways.

Fullstop CCTV systems include standard internal or external colour cameras and dome cameras as well as the fully functional (PTZ) type.
Cameras are connected to Digital Video Recording (DVR) devices with any number of cameras downloading to a single high capacity HDD. Selected sequences can be easily recorded onto a CD ROM. PTZ cameras can be operated from the DVR or via a separate keyboard(s).

A monitor is generally installed beside the DVR, which enables the user to play back and view images as required. If a longer and or permanent record is needed then additional storage can be provided in the form of a bigger HDD or a separate facility.
Customers can also view their cameras and operate the DVR from a PC on their LAN or remotely from anywhere in the world via the Internet. Live images can be transmitted via Broadband or ISDN to a Euro Standard CCTV Monitoring Centre (ARC) for onward reporting to keyholders or Police.

CCTV Systems require very specific expertise. Our engineers are fully trained in the design, installation and maintenance of CCTV systems. You can rest assured your system will be operating at full efficiency at the vital time.

Infra Red cameras

Most thefts of vehicles and neighbourly disputes in domestic premises resulting in criminal damage occur during the hours of darkness but there needs be some light for the DVR to be effective.

Recent advances in Infra Red technology have allowed external cameras to be fitted with integral Infra Red LED's. This allows day/night colour cameras to switch to monochrome and utilise the Infra Red to produce excellent images.

The requirement for lighting is the same in commercial situations and if there is an absence of sufficient white light then day/night cameras can be utilised. These cameras can incorporate Infra Red LEDs up to a range of around 50m, greater distances will require separate long range Infra Red lamps.
